Well it is time for the team to be heading to Macon, GA on our missions trip. This year we will have 9 folks going. 8 of the travelers are going to be clowning. . We will be updating this blog as to our progress.

VA Welcome home festival was held at the Dover Air force base museum this year. This is CWC Clowns second year with that we have been blessed to pay tribute to our men and woman in arms. The day was spent doing a lot of walk around. In attendance was Slow-Lee, Tootsie, Bubbles, Bibbles, and CJ.

Millsboro strawberry festival

May 29 Millsboro strawberry festival was a joy to attend this year. This was our second year attending this event and it was nice to see so many familiar faces. We did a lot of walk around and some skits. On site was Bibbles, Bubbles, Slow-Lee, CJ and for his grand appearance Oopsie.

Camden Lutheran Day Care

May 25 Camden Lutheran Day Care center welcomed a few of our clowns to their end of year fair. The clowns provided some high 5’s smiles and bees. We thank Slow-Lee, Tootsie, and Bibbles for making a day time event.

Lebanon Wesleyan Church

May 22 Lebanon Wesleyan Church was having a end of bible club picnic. CWC Clowns arrived to bring some laughter and a message. We performed several skits and some illusions. . In attendance was Tootsie, Slow-Lee, Bibbles, and CJ.

Central Delaware Christian Academy

May 22 Central Delaware Christian Academy Spring Fair was held in Camden. This is a Christian school that holds an annual Fun fair. The Fair is both a celebration and fund raiser for the school. Our group did some walk around, ballooning, and a few skits. In attendance was Tootsie, Victory-Ee, Slow-Lee, Bibbles, and CJ. Many smiles were brought to the faces of those in attendance.

May 15 Greenwood Country Retirment Home

What a great time we had celebrating national nursing home week at the Country Retirement Home in Greenwood. On hand was Victory-Ee, Bubbles, Marshmallow, Tootsie, Slow-Lee, and C.J. April 25 All Stars

April 25 2010 Bubbles and Bibbles performed one of our skits "Hiding from God" for the children s church service. They did a wonderful job using talents God has given them to share a biblical truth. We are so glad to see such young children serving God.

May 1 2010 Old Dover Days Parade

The Old Dover Days Parade was amazing. Weather was perfect and a nice bright day. It was our first time presenting a float and it worked well. We also were able to use our new signs. Victor-e was our Jack in the Box. Giggles performed the driving task. Tootsie, Marshmallow, Bubbles, and CJ walked along the parade route. March 27 2010, Once again we strolled the halls for DHCI to visit with the residents and share the love of God. We have a flock of clowns with us this time Flying in was Pattycake, Giggles, Slowlee, Bubbles, Marshmallow, C.J. and, Victor-E. Yes I said Victor-e he I sour newest clown born 3/27/2010 5 pounds 10 once well maybe a little more. So please give a warm welcome to our newest clown.

Happy Birthday Jesus party

December 13 2009 Happy Birthday Jesus party at connections church. Giggles, Marshmallow, Bibbles, Tootsie and C.J. attended. When we arrived we set up our stage then went and made balloons for many of the children. We performed several skits and illusions. One of the skits was Marshmallows first skit with the clowns and she did an outstanding job. Three children made a decision for this to be there first Christmas with Jesus as there personnel savior.

Sussex festival for the trees for Hospice

Saturday December 5, 2009 Sussex festival for the trees for Hospice. This was our second year to be with Hospice in Sussex County. We spent about 2 hours with all the attendees of the festival. We even had a chance to tell the big man in the red suit what clown items we need for Christmas (see photo above). The people where so warm and welcoming it was such a joy to spend some time there. We even decorated a Christmas tree with balloons and stuff we pulled from Slo-Lee’s ear. In attendance was Tootsie, Slo-Lee, Bibbles, Marshmallow, and C.J.

Lions club Annual Christmas for the Blind

Thursday December 3 the Lions club had there annual Christmas for the blind party. Several of our group descended upon the Camden fire house to spread a smile to those in attendance. Pattycake was doing her usual awesome job of painting faces. Giggles, Phil Ebert, and C.J. were making balloons. We even had Slow-Lee making balloons and he did a great job on his maiden voyage. C.J. spent sometime doing walk around and dancing with a lady in a wheelchair and she defiantly out danced C.J.

Dover Downs Hospice Festival of Trees.

November 27, 2009 three of our clowns descended on Dover Downs for the Festival of Trees. We spent about 2 ½ hours with the children and a new friend the State News Hound. Tootsie, Marshmallow, and C.J. had a great time playing musical chairs and making balloons for the children. We also spend time with all the moms and dads.

DHCI Dancing fools

November 14, 2009 We had a nice group of fools descend on Delaware Hospital for the Chronically Ill and dance around. Pattycake, Giggles, Bibbles (her first time at DHCI), Bubbles, Jack-Oh, and CJ spent two hours going room to room sharing the love of Jesus. We found a lot of smiles when we said the name of Jesus. We so are so please that DHCI welcomes us so warmly.

Stokes Elementary school

Friday November 6, 2009 Stoke Elementary school where Bubbles is extending her higher education was having a harvest festival and Tootsie and C.J. made balloons for those who wished to have some and Stardust made a grand entry and proceeded to paint faces and arms with her skillful brush in hand. This was not a ministry function but just giving back to our school. We did have a super duper time.

Saturday October 31 2009, Pattycake, Bibbles, Bubbles, Slow-Lee, and CJ were invited to Greenwood Retirement Home. When we arrived we were welcomed by about 20 residents all dresses in smiles in the day room. We performed several skits and they were well received. Pattycake brought along Hallelujah Hair with her who brought several laughs led in singing of some old songs. Slow-Lee brought Dr. Moody and the residents kept asking when the Dr. was going to come back so at the end of our skits Dr. Moody went around to say hi to all present. Pattycake and CJ made baboons for all and Bibbles and Bubbles gave them out. Connor (Bibbles brother) came along to record and take pictures of our event. The gospel was presented for all to hear.

Milford River Walk

Saturday September 12 was a busy day CWC Clowns had 2 events one was at DHCA and one at Milford River Walk. See the other blog entry for DHCI report. At the River Walk we had a small stage with an hour to fill. In attendance was Slow-Lee, Dazy-Wazy, Sonshine, Tootsie. Bubbles, Bibbles, Bubbles, C.J. and our sound guy Rodney. This was the first show we used music to enhance the show and it went well. We actually lip-synced 2 songs with fake musical instruments and the crow liked it. Our show was an hour long and I think all team members were tired out at the end of the show. One very awesome note just before we were to go on it started to sprinkle so we went to our Lord in prayer and God kept the rain away. Greenwood Town Block Party

September 5, 2009 CWC Clowns spent the day in Greenwood Delaware at town wide block party. In attendance was Slow-Lee- Jack-Ohh, Daizy Waizy, Sonshine, Bibbles, Bubbles and C.J. We performed walk around through out the town. We had a chance to meet a lot of people any spread some smiles around and share Gods love. Bubbles, Bibbles and C.J. were in a animal costume parade. Bibbles entered with Henery the chicken, Bubbles was escorting Spot the invisible dog, and C.J. sashayed down the runway with Robert the rabbit. Gee I just don’t understand why we didn’t win.

Wyoming Park

Sunday August 16, 2009 Wyoming Park C.J. and Tootsie spent about an hour and a half ministering at a friend church picnic. We performed a few skits did a lot of walk around. We challenged them to pray for one another and lift each other up as our parting message. Only think I have to say is it sure was HOT.

Middletown Peach Festival

Saturday August 15 Middletown Peach Festival was a true blessing. In attendance was Giggles, Tootsie, Slow-lee, Marshmallow, bubbles, C.J. and introducing our newest member Bibbles. We preformed 3 shows of a half hour each. I must say Bubbles and Bibbles did a very good job in the shows. They looked good and performed there parts well. We were fortunate in that our performances were inside where it was air-conditioned. The gospel was presented at each show clearly. We had a guest clown Gimpy who spent the day with us.

Harrington National Night Out

August 4th was Harrington’s National Night Out and Slow-Lee and C.J. were on hand to welcome the visitors to the police and fire departments sponsored event. CJ made some balloons for the children on hand. It was a warm night on the town but it was a blessing to be their with all in attendance.

Veterans welcome home celebration

8/1/09 Veterans welcome home celebration was held in Wilmington at the VA medical center and their was a big turn out of veterans and veterans families. On hand was Pattycake, Tootsie, and C.J. Pattycake painted many many faces throughout the day and Tootsie, and C.J. did a lots and lots and lots of walk around we also made balloons for the children. Our group was very warmly welcomed and they have plans for us in the near future.

Denton Camp

7/31/09 Again it was a blessing to be with the children this year at Denton Family Camp. On hand was Stardust, Jack-Ohh, Tootsie, Daisy-Wazy and C.J. We performed several of our skits, some illusions and Stardust out performed herself by painting about 80 children in a little over an hour (GO Stardust). We hade one child who prayed the sinners prayer “To God be the glory” We wont mention by name but some of us after we left the camp went for Ice Cream yummy Yumm.

Dover YMCA

Giggles spent some at the Dover YMCA day camp. about 17 children were in attendance.The theme of the week was carnival/circus. Giggles read a story about going to the circus and what you would see and then painted faces with a circus theme. Giggles let the kids choose from four faces. A lion, dog, clown or one of the beautiful girls who are trapeze artists or ride the elephants. Giggles was there from 9:00 - 11:45. She also handed out a "Fun Page" that the kids could color. It was a two-sided page that had a circus scene on one side and Giggles' picture and contact information on the other. Giggles is working on a Christian version and a regular version of the fun page with different games, jokes, etc., that could be handed out at other events. She will be glad to share what she develops with the group in case someone else would like to do something similar. Her brother is a pretty good artist and had drawn the picture of Giggles that was used. The circus theme picture came from the internet.

DHCI Saturday 7/27/09

Saturday was such a blessing at Delaware Hospital for the Chronically Ill. Jack-Ohh, Giggles, Bubbles, and CJ were in attendance and went room to room visiting and praying with the residents. Jack-Ohh made many honorary clowns throughout the afternoon. You don’t realize how blessed you are until you spend some time at DHCI. Jack-Ohh and I were recalling how some believers even though they are physical depleted spiritually they are praising Jesus.

July 4th the day of parades

July 4 was a packed and fun filled day. Tootsie, Pattycake, Giggles, Slow-Lee, Bubbles, Marshmallow and CJ spent the day together. It started off bright and early at the Smyrna Clayton parade. The parade was about a mile long and we all had a great time spending time with those viewing the parade. After the parade it was a mile walk back to the car. Afterwords we went to the Thrash’s home for a picnic to include Hamburg’s, hot dogs, and other goodies. The next activity for the day was the Dover parade this time we got smart and parked the car near the end of the parade route. Aging we had a blast with all the parade watchers. After the parade we were invited over to the American legion for hot dogs and Hamburg’s (sounds like lunch). We made some balloons for the children who were at this picnic. The weather was absolutely awesome all day God blessed the day. If you have not been in a parade you must try it once it is a lot of fun.

Relay for Life

June 19 was the Relay or Life held in Milford. Giggles attended and had done some face painting for about 2 hours. This was the second year CWC Clowns was in attendance at the Relay for Life

Last day update

June 13…Well we made it back home Saturday morning around 8:00. Friday started much like every other day with our team awaking and getting ready to march out the door around 8:15 and head over to Hephzibah. The only exception was we had to be all packed up and load up the van for the trip home. We were not in clown on Friday so the process of getting ready was much easer then all the other days. Arriving that morning we had our opening time where members of our team would lead singing for about 20 minutes then a morning short lesson would be given by Pastor Jack. When the opening time was completed the children would go to all different activities all over the camp. Some would go on a nature walk, swimming, visit the farm, crafts, and other fun activities. Our team would join a group and stay with them throughout the week and build a relationship that will last past our leaving.

We were treated to a tour of Hephzibah and received insight to the ministry that takes place there and where the future of Hephzibah is headed.

The children had taken the time throughout the week to make each team member a book mark and a thank you card. I know each team member will cherish their card; it will help us to remember to pray for the children of Camp Pathway.

As Friday came to an end and we had to say goodbye many tears where shed as we got our goodbye hugs. We all squished back in the van to head home around 4:30 PM. We drove though the night and arrived back at CWC Church around 8:00 AM Saturday.

Day 4 update

June 11, We were back at Camp Pathway today and had 3 groups to minister to. Two of the groups were all the boys attending the camp. Over the day we had 17 children who made a decision to yield their life to Jesus and ask him for their sins to be washed away.

In the afternoon we had all the campers come to the gym and we had a one hour “event” where we had some fun, sang a few songs as a clown group, several children recited some verses, painted rainbows on children’s arms, and provided each camper with a balloon. Much to our surprise the children hade made each clown a gift. It was a book mark and a hand made card with “we love you” written on it. I want to tell you this struck my heart.

What a privilege to love and be loved by these children this week. I recall the song “They will know we are Christians by Our Love”

In the evening we went to dinner with several young ladies and their children what a blessed time of fellowship. In case you were wondering we were no in our clown costumes.

Tomorrow we will be working with the children but not as clowns. After the camp ends around 4:00 we will start our trip home and drive through the night. We should arrive back in Delaware around 8:00.

Please pray for safety as we drive home and the children we ministered to will grow in knowledge of Jesus Christ.

Daily update day 3

June 10 day 3. The thought for today is you can not out give God in service. Vinson Valley Summer Camp in Byron GA. This is a rustic camp run by the United Methodist Church in Byron. We performed our program 4 times and God again reach out and touched the children. 34 children received Jesus as their Lord and Savior.

Some background we presented the gospel through clowning and illusions at the end we ask the children if they would like to ask Jesus to forgive them of their sins and to have Him be the one who lead their lives. Those who respond to this calling we have them pray a prayer of forgiveness and then we ask them to leave the room and go to a quite place where we talk to them one on one and insure they understand what they have done. We also ask them if we could pray for them for anything in particular it would break your heart to understand where some of these children are coming from. One boy asked us to pray for him mommy who is getting ready to go back to jail for the second time. This is just an example of what some of the prayer request are. Many tears have been shed over the last three days. It is such a joy to know they can now lean on the everlasting arms of our sweet savior.

Tomorrow we have three more groups to minister too and we are so excited to see what God has in store for us. We just want to be the clay our masters hands.

Pray for the children hearts we will be ministering to tomorrow that they will be tender. Pray for the team that we never loose sight of what God is doing and that we seek to serve Him in many ways. Pray that the children that are making a decision will be ministered to in a local church.

June 9 our second day

June 9 , 2009 Earthly words can not express today here at Hephzibah our clown troop had four performances of our skits. Each performance had about 12 – 15 children watching it. Our Lord used us broken pots to witness to these children and 32 children give their lives to Jesus Christ. We are rejoicing with the angles in heaven at the souls snatched out of satins hands at a young age.

Each night we have a time of devotion with all team member of this trip and it turns out to be a time of giving honor and praise for the work Jesus is doing. The team is physically and emotionally tired but spiritually we are energized for doing our Lords work.

Tomorrow (Wednesday) we re traveling to a different camp and ministering to about 150 children please pray for tender hearts to hear Gods calling.
Thursday we will be returning to Hephzibah to minister to the remaining 3 groups

Monday Update from Macon, GA

What a blessed day. This is the day the Lord has made we will rejoice and be glad in it. Everyone on the team woke bushy eyed and ready to go…. Well almost everyone. Any way we arrived at Hephzibah around 8:15 and set up music for the opening songs and started to greet some of our old friends and meet some new ones. It was a joy to see the children from last year and receive some very warm hugs. Our group was divided up and off we went to spend the day with the children. In no time at all relationships were being built. The children would just come up to you and want to hang on you and tell stories. Everyone of us could already tell you stories on how much love we have for these children and I know Friday when it comes time to say good by many tears are going to be shed.

Each evening we get together as a group and have a bible study and time in pray. This evening we talked about how we are to be light in this world from Mathew 5 and we challenged each other to be lights this week that make eternal differences. We spent time reflecting on one highlight of the day and it was hard to even speak of the love we shared with out choking up. Then we spend time praying for the children.

Pray for us on Tuesday as we minister as clowns and this is the day we present the gospel of Jesus Christ. Each unsaved child will be presented the opportunity to ask Jesus to forgive them of their sins and be cleansed from all unrighteousness.

The group is physically tired but spiritual very energized spiritually.

We left Harrington this morning at 4:30 and God was with us the entire trip. We arived in Macon at 6:00 PM We are laal looking forward to a week with the children.

Long Neck United Methodist Church

June 6 Slow-Lee, Sonshine, Jack-Ohh, Bobo, and CJ went to Long Neck United Methodist Church for some walk-around. The church was having a community event where they were sharing love, kindness, and food with their community. Everyone from CWC Clowns had a wonderful time sharing Gods love. Jack-Ohh and CJ performed a skit for several people, Slow-Lee did a very nice dance when a choir was on stage dancing. Did I mention he did it on the stage while they were dancing? CJ and Slow-lee did some illusions for some children who were inside coloring. The Gospel was presented clearly to the children and a lesson was given on how to be sure you can go to Heaven.
Jack-Ohh had a chance to sit in a fire truck and we all had our pictures taken. Check out the event photos to see all the pictures from the day. Well it is off to Georgia in just a few hours.

2008 Hephzibah Missions Trip members

We will be leaving around 4:00 Am Sunday morning June 6 from Harrington DE and should arriving in Macon GA around 6:00 PM. We will be performing skits that we have been working on for the past few months and within these skits their will be humor, biblical moral lessons, and the gospel will be presented with a very clear and direct invitation to accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. We will be using this blog to keep our praying partners up to date on how they can pray for us. A few things you can pray about are safety as we travel, the hearts of those we will be meeting, us to have the energy and love to cover the children with, that we will remember our lines. Thanks for praying for us and watch this space starting June 6.

Strawberry Festival Millsborough DE Mary Mother of Peace Church

Saturday May 23 our Clown group was invited to the Strawberry Festival Millsborough DE at Mary Mother of Peace Church. In attendance were Tootsie, Bubbles, Marshmallow, BoBo, Jack-Ohh, Slow-Lee and C.J. We kind of were like the disciples and broke off in to pairs and performed some walk around and greeted many people with a smile. At one point we entered the building where people where sitting down enjoying some strawberry goodies and we performed “The Love Letter” skit. Jack-Ohh was making a lot of honorary clowns and we have some fairly nice pictures of these new clowns. The highlight light of my day was meeting a “young lady” who was getting around very well. I found out she was 102 years old. The only other thing to say about the day IT WAS HOT!

On the way out of town we stopped by Millsborough Wesleyan church’s chicken dinner fund raiser that was held in the medium where route 24 splits. We spent some time doing walk around and making a few balloons for some of the children.

DHCI May 15, 2009

I stand amazed and in wonder why the creator of all uses cracked pots like us to carry on His ministry. It was a blessing to be able to return to Delaware Hospital for the Conically Ill (DHCI). Today’s ministry outreach was attended by Giggles, Pattycake, Slow-Lee, Tootsie, Marshmallow, Bubbles and C.J. We had a chance to visit with about 40 residents and share a smile and let them know God loves them. We had a kazoo lead sing along while walking the halls. Being at DHCI bring to mind how blessed we are and since we are ww should be about our Lords work. I look forward to visiting again in two months.

April 15th 2009 Meeting

April 15^th we held our regularly scheduled meeting we opened with prayer and spend some time in the. CJ gave the devotion in getting back the basics. What is the Gospel it is the good news Jesus Christ dying in the place of sinners. It is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes (Romans 1:16). The gospel is knowing that through faith we are accepted, and therefore obeying. God saves a person by giving them new life and granting to them repentance. We need to understand how love for Christ should be our chief motive in all we do. We love him because he first loved us (1 John 5:19). Being gripped by the awesome love of Christ is the fuel for the engine of service. We want to reach a lost generation for his sake! This is our motivation for our clowning.

Reports were given on last month events they include St Patrick’s Day Parade, DHCI, Smyrna Readiness Center ,Milford Senior Center, Sussex Hospice, Milford AARP

We reviewed the up and coming events that you can find on our calendar. C.J. expressed the need to know who is going to be attending events and that it is a bad testament if we schedule events and we don’t have anyone show up. We may not take anymore daytime events or weekday events until we can better fill the need.

We scheduled two more clown practices for May 3rd and 17^th to be held at CWC at 2:00.

Milford AARP and Hospice

April 14 10:00 AM Tootsie and CJ had a visit with the Sussex Hospice. The plan was for CWC Clowns to pay a surprise visit with a group of volunteers. The director of volunteers had several other good ideas first. We crashed two meetings and brought some smiles on workers faces. Then we jumped in to the volunteers meeting and performed some illusions, ballooning, and skits. We were then given tour of the facility and what a nice place it is.

At Noon we spent an hour with the Milford AAPR members and had a blast. Again we performed skits, ballooning, illusions, and presented the gospel. It was a small group but it allowed a lot of one on one time with the members. We are looking forward to spending time with them at a latter date.

Milford Senior Center

On 4-9-09 CJ attended the Milford senior center luncheon to do some walk around and perform some illusions. The Gospel was presented by performing one of the CWC Clowns favorite skits "The Love Letter. This skit calls for two clowns but in a pinch the Holy Sprite provides inspiration and was able to perform it solo. In invitation was made and left in the hands of the Holy Spirit. After several a few skits and illusion CJ made some bunny baboons for some of the attendees. Sorry We don't have any pictures yet but someone who had taken pictures will be forwarding them on shortly. I want to thank Doris Hoover for inviting us and her very warm welcome and introduction.

Smyrna Readiness Center

April 4 2009 Smyrna Readiness Center for the National Guard. Attending was Pattycake, Tootsie, Bubbles, and CJ joined Giggles at the center. Balloons were made faces painted, illusions presented and the love of God shown. The reason we were their was for an Easter celebration that was held for families who have a parent deployed overseas. We spent about an hour with the children and had a great time. After we left the center we decided to go to the Smyrna dinner for lunch and we made a couple of friends at the dinner with some balloons.

Note this event was actually setup by Giggles thank you Giggles for inviting us.

Delaware Hospital for the Chronically Ill

What a blessed time we had at DHCI spreading smiles on residents faces. Giggles, Marshmallow, Bubbles, Tootsie, and C.J. were in attendance. We spent about 2 1/5 hours visiting mostly room to room at DHCI. I counted such a joy to minister to some who could totally respond by laughing and talking to you to some who were just able to stair at you and not have any response. We were able to let them know that God loves them and that they can rely on God. Giggles had made paper frogs (really cute) that had FROG Fully rely on God written on them. We made balloons for all that we meet and shared a smile. We spend time with 70 residents and just about all of it was one on one time it was amazing.

A personnel note from CJ. It was a blessing to have our two young children ministering with us. Marshmallow was for the most part some what shy but at one point for some reason she really took to a man named Chuck. The two of them just hugged and laughed together for the longest time so here is a 4 year old ministering let me tell you that is amazing. I pray she will always have a servants heart and be a minister of our Lord. What a display of our Lords love for us totally unconditional. Bubbles on the other hand doesn't have a shy nerve in her body and was way ahead of the rest of us wanting to meet the next person and give them the Fully Relying on God FROG.

I understand a little bit better why our Savior wants us to like children. Thanks to Giggles for making this happen.

Downtown Doverl St. Patrick’s Day Parade

My first Parade and it was a blast. Yesterday CWC Clowns was in Dover's St. Patrick's Day parade. On hand for the parade was Giggles, Slow-Lee, Tootsie, Bubbles, Marshmallow, and CJ. This was the first time out for Tootsie, Bubbles, and Marshmallow. They all did a wonderful job. We had a wagon that Marshmallow was pulled in that had signs indicating our group’s name. We had to wait 1 and a half hours till the parade started so we did some walk around and spend a lot of time with children from the 4H club. Once the parade started we walk mostly along the side lines giving some high fives. CJ had a hand puppet that was busy also giving out high fives. It was such a blessing to put some smiles on peoples faces. I cant help but think some of the people we meet along the route are having difficult times so I am glad we were their for the smiles.

C.J. had meet a young lady who was VERY afraid of clowns when one of her friend said hey they are Christian clowns how can you be afraid of them we all gave a shout out the we love Jesus and then she warmed up a little.

March 18 2009 Monthly meeting

March 18 2009 we had our regularly scheduled monthly meeting and were blessed with Sara Lawrence visiting with us. Sarah is a missionary with Worldwide Children’s Bible Mission this ministry reaches out to children to tell them about the saving grace of our Lord. Sarah started the evening with a few short stories on how she was able to share the Good News with some children as God has provided the opportunity. We then worked through the wordless book and spent time looking at the scriptures and linking phrases associated with each color. We all marked up our bibles with colored paper clips to help us get to the verses as needed. When the opportunity arises to present the gospel you don’t have to have the wordless book with you just follow the principles we learned. What we learned works for children and adults. I have used these principles for many years and it helps to insure your presentation of the Gospel is clear.

At the end of the night Sarah handed out several very good sheets or resources that I look forward to reviewing. As time permits I may post the internet links to these resources on our website or Worldwide Children’s Bible Missions website.

Boy Scouts Blue and Gold banquet

Sunday February 15 we had an event at Camden Moose Lodge for the Boy Scouts Blue and Gold banquet. C.J. was at this event and made balloons for all children in attendance and did some walk around

CWC Childrens Program Report

WOW what a great day we had at the children s church today. First we welcome our three newest clowns Bo Bo, Daisy, and Snoopy your guys did an awesome job in ministry. I also want to extend a very special thanks to Phil Ebert and Dick Richards for video recording and taking pictures so we can review our performance. We did have one child raise her had to indicate she prayed the sinners prayer to God be the glory and we thank Him for allowing us to be part of His calling.

Jaunary 2009 Monthly Meeting

January 21 we held our regularly monthly meeting starting at 6:30. Our group opening in a season of prayer. Out time in the word focused on Faith Hope and Love and as clowns we can show each of these as we meet and touch people’s lives. The clown can put on each of these. With love we realized that it involves others and it is an action word that we must put in to action.

We discussed that we need to get a group photo done so we are looking for an event where all of us can come together soon hopefully. Reports were received on New Years Eve and the visit to Modern Maturity Center. WE learned what the clean page means on our clown logo.

Appearances coming soon. The DHCI visit for January 24 has been postponed till March 28. Children’s program for CWC is February 8th @ 10:40. February 15 1:00 – 3:00 we will be meeting with a boy shouts group at the Camden Wyoming moose lodge. Hephzibah Mission trip is June 21 -27 and the cost is $300 See our special web blog just for this missions trip here

We had a lot of discussion about how we need to do our best for our Lord when it comes to the clown ministry. We are going to start to have practices for our skits. The first is this Sunday January 25, from 3-5 at CWC church.

Hephzibah 2009 Missions Trip Informatoin

2008 Hephzibah Missions Team

This post will be used to provide the most up to date information on the 2009 Hephzibah missions trip involving our clown trip. The trip is scheduled for June 7 - 12. The cost of the trip will be $300. As a group we may want to see if we could do a fund raising event. You may want to check out http://www.hephzibah.org/

The detail are being worked out but this year the Clown troupe my be doing something different. We may travel to different camp up to two a day and minister at each of those camps. This would be such a blessing.

Please pray for God's guidance in you life to know if he is calling you to minister with the clowns this year.

Those who indicate they will be joining the group on this trip should be committed to the ministry. We will need to meet and have several practices before we leave. We will be showing the Love of Jesus Christ and telling other the Good News of His death burial and glorious resurrection. We should do this the very best we could and with a servants heart.
